How do I customize my checkout page?

Your checkout page is the last thing a client sees before they pay you. Every offer comes with a ready-made checkout, and you can change how it looks and what it says so it feels like your brand. That helps more people finish buying.

There are two kinds of checkout:

  • Standard checkout: the one every offer uses. Change it once and every offer updates.
  • Custom checkout: a one-off layout for a single offer, like a special launch or a high-ticket package. Your other offers keep using the standard checkout.

Most coaches only ever need the standard checkout.

How to edit your standard checkout

  1. In the left menu, click My Store, then Checkout Pages.
  2. In the Standard checkout box, click Modify standard checkout. The designer opens in a new tab.
  3. Click any block to edit it. Its settings show in the side panel.
  4. Add blocks (text, images, video, testimonials, a guarantee and more) from the block panel.
  5. Click Save Checkout.

How to change the button and coupon wording

  1. Open your checkout in the designer (steps above).
  2. Click the Checkout Form block and change the Button Text (it says Proceed to Payment until you change it).
  3. Click the Coupon Field block to change its Label, Placeholder, Help Text and Apply Button Text. (Coupons are explained in How do I create a coupon code?)
  4. Click Save Checkout.

How to give one offer its own checkout

  1. Open the offer (for example under Offers) and go to the Checkout step.
  2. Choose Customize checkout for this product.
  3. Make your changes and click Save Checkout.

You can also start from My Store › Checkout Pages › Optional: custom checkout for one offer.

How to preview your checkout as a client

  1. In Checkout Pages, open the action menu next to a custom checkout and choose Copy customer preview link.
  2. Paste the link into a private or incognito browser window.

How to go back to the standard checkout

  • One offer: in Checkout Pages, open the action menu next to the offer and click Use standard checkout.
  • Your standard checkout: click the reset icon next to Modify standard checkout to put it back to the original layout.

Resetting is permanent, so only do it if you really want to start fresh.

Add an extra item at checkout

Your checkout can also offer a small add-on with a tick box, called an order bump. It shows up by itself once you’ve made one. See What is an order bump and how do I add one to my checkout?
