What if my client has no more prepaid sessions?
Sessions on LCH Core works a bit like a gym punch card: clients buy packages (a set number of prepaid sessions) or single sessions, and each time you meet, the system automatically deducts one from their balance. When the balance hits zero, you can still create a new session. Youโll just choose how payment should happen next.
Choose how you want them to pay
When you add the session, youโll see these four options:
1) Payment link with cancellation
Sends a payment link before the session. If unpaid, the session is automatically cancelled 24 hours prior.
Use when you require payment in advance.
2) Payment link
Sends a payment link before the session, but the session will not be cancelled if unpaid (itโs treated as pro bono until paid).
Use when you want flexibility or are intentionally comping the time.
3) Invoice post session
Sends an invoice after the session so the client can pay from their portal.
Use if you bill after sessions or run end-of-month accounting.
4) Alternate payment method
Marks that youโll handle billing outside of LCH (no invoice is sent).
Use for cash, bank transfer, or another external method while still recording the session.
If they need to buy more sessions
You can also have the client purchase a new package themselves:
- Ask them to log into their Client Portal โ Coaching Store and buy the package you recommend.
- Or send them your Public Store link (make sure the package is listed there).
- Once they check out, the new sessions will appear on their account and you can continue scheduling.
Copy-paste message to send clients:
โHi [Name]! Youโve used all your prepaid sessions. To continue, please go to your Portal โ Store and purchase [Package Name] (or use this link: [Public Store link]). Once you check out, Iโll confirm your next session. Thanks!โ
