Self-regulation. When was the last time you told yourself ‘No.’ Or made a choice and realized you were making the choice because it would help you achieve your goals?
It is crucial to improve your awareness when it comes to how you make choices, about anything and everything. As you begin self-regulation you will realize that it improves your ability to complete tasks and advance toward the goals you have set out for your life.
Your self-esteem will flourish as you start to feel more in control. Making decisions will also become easier as your confidence grows.
You will find it takes less energy to solve issues or problems and this in turn will give you an increased feeling of resiliency.
You will be happier.
When you make choices that which are based on achieving your goals you can be honest with yourself and those around you. With this level of transparency you will find less stress and healthier relationships built on honesty.
Self-regulation is:
- Making choices that are good for you and your goals,
- Being conscious of the fact you are making decisions,
- Gainig perspective; looking at situations and finding the positive,
- Taking smarter, better calculated risks.
Over time, self-regulation will give you more courage and confidence, which is strength of character.

What can you do to enhance the new evolving you? What are the tasks and goals you need to work on today?
Ask several people in your life you respect what they think the one thing is that you need to work on that would improve your life. Can you be more honest with yourself?
