Be direct and get right to the point, and smiles will follow.
Does it seem like you never get what you want? Try as you might, does it seem like you can’t ever get your way?
No one always gets what they want, but in could seem like most folks are successful a bit more often in achieving their goals. Some people might write off not getting their way as bad luck, but the problem is probably bad communication. The following tips should help you better communicate your wants and desires, leading you to be able to have what you want more often.
Be clear
When you want something, let others know exactly what it is you desire. If you are not clear, you run the risk of being misunderstood and getting a completely different result. For example, if you would like a raise, ask your boss for precisely that. Don’t say that you would like more recognition or better compensation because you might find that you are only getting additional praise or an extra vacation day.
The same goes for results you are trying to manifest. If you want enough money to come into your life that you will be able to make a down payment on a house, ask for that much money. If you don’t ask for a specific amount or benchmark, simply asking the universe for money in general, you might end up finding a few coins on the street. That would be what you asked for, but it would definitely not be enough to reach your goal.

Be direct
Make asking for what you want the focus of your interaction. If you want to ask a coworker or classmate on a date, just ask them. If you slip it in as an afterthought or dance around the question, he or she might miss it or think that you aren’t sincere or serious. What you are asking for is important to you, and you should treat it as such.
Ask the right person
Don’t ask just anyone for what you want – ask the person who can get you what you want. If you want to interview for a better position in your company, don’t ask an intern if they could try to set it up for you. You can tell your friends, peers and even strangers that you want that interview, but nothing is going to happen if you don’t take initiative and ask the proper person for what you want.

Conclusion
