"Hello, my name is Coach Maria. I am a relationship and family specialist, working with individuals, couples, and families who are navigating critical moments that require intervention, mediation, and solution-focused support.

I provide a safe space to carefully assess each situation and guide clients toward practical plans, healthy alternatives, and long-term solutions.

To date, I have supported over 3,000 unique situations across many online and app platforms. Beyond that work, I also offer alternative wellness and holistic guidance through my personal practice, helping people heal and grow in every area of life."

My clients will discover themselves through a wholesome holistic life coaching approach. I believe it is important that my clients gain true clarity about themselves and their barriers. My clients and I explore deeper into how self-reflection, beliefs and understanding play a role in decision making. I aim to make my sessions both reflective and transformative so that my client will see the light at the end of their tunnel. I also provide mentoring and motivation when needed because it is just as important as the coaching itself.

How I like to coach

I offer integrative, solution-focused coaching and consultation that blends clear, practical strategy with compassionate, real-time support. Drawing on extensive work with complex relationships and family dynamics, I combine evidence-informed coaching with alternative wellness modalities—sound & frequency therapy, light therapies, acupressure/ear seeding, aromatherapy, and energy work—to help regulate the nervous system, restore clarity, and map doable next steps. Sessions are tailored and actionable: we define goals, build 30-60-90 day plans, craft communication scripts and boundaries, and, when helpful, integrate faith-sensitive guidance. My approach is direct but warm—grounded and intuitive—meeting you exactly where you are and moving you forward, one clear step at a time.

Hello, my name is Maria, Founder of Life Avenue Coaching and all of its divisions. I am a Certified Life Coach Professional and Alternative Practitioner. I'm a member of several organizations such as the International Organization of Professional Life Coaches, The Certified Coaches Alliance with the International Coaches Federation. Other specializations are in NLP, Emotional Intelligence, Performance, Confidence, Mindfulness, End of Life | Grief Support, Spirituality Coaching, Sound and frequency Therapy all of which allows for a much more productive, in-depth experience in each session. Every rigorous training and self-investment that I make is always in the best interest of my clients.

Prior to Life Avenue Coaching, I held more than 20 years of extensive professional experience various departments in the healthcare industry. In my earlier years I worked with the Board of Education after school support programs that provided special activities for children experiencing developmental delays.

On a personal note, I know first-hand what it is to go through the processes of transition, change, and reinventing oneself in both life and career.

I am a firm believer that everything in mind, body and soul must align for you to move forward and that coaching the whole person is extremely effective. My goal is to bring clients to a whole new level of self awareness, discovery and exploration into their new path so that will succeed in their journey for change and or transformation.

PANDEMIC DISRUPTION & CAREER CHANGE

In 2019 the pandemic became world news and disrupted everything in society. It hit home when my company closed down and I lost my job. Unemployment only lasted for so long and while looking for work I realized that I no longer wanted to work in sales and marketing. Unfortunately, that was the only thing I knew and I felt lost as to what to do next. I struggled for months trying to figure out the "what", "how" and "when". I was at breaking point and funds were running low. I saw an ad for life coaching but wasn't sure if I could afford it, let alone, if it was something that could help me. Thank GOD I gave it a try. Life Avenue Coaching offered a sliding scale option which helped me to get a few sessions under my belt. It was life changing! I realized that I had to get some new training skills towards my career change but it was a start. I expect to be in my newly found career in 6 months or less!
