Don’t Count on Happily Ever After Even After you Achieve your Career Dream
Even if you actualize your dream, it won’t necessarily be sunshine, lollipops, and rainbows. This is one of the great drawbacks of the notion of the “American Dream.” Once you get that dream job, you still have to work.
Even the biggest celebrities and successful entrepreneurs still put in the occasional 12+ hour day that makes them second guess whether this was the right career for them. It’s normal to ask that question, even if you “make it.”
But the most telling sign is whether, after asking that question, you can pick yourself up by the bootstraps the next morning and do it all again.
If you want to get more from your life, and are looking for concrete action steps to get you there, check out our Request a Coach page. It’s a “cut the fence-sitting and take action” way to tackle your issues and actually find success. To get off the fence and start to take action, click or tap here.
