How to Have More Fun
Laughter and fun will add balance to your life.
Do you find your life overwhelming at times? Do you feel that you’re too busy to take time out to have fun? With our busy schedules, it’s sometimes very hard to find the time to just have fun.
Having fun is a wonderful way to relieve stress, relax and maintain a good balance in your life. When we were children it was very easy to have fun but as adults, we usually put fun low on our priority list under the things we feel we should be doing instead.
Schedule recreation time
You might believe that you are just too busy to enjoy relaxation and fun, but if you really are that busy then you need it even more! You do not have to spend a lot of time having fun to truly benefit from it. Simply schedule some time a few times a week to recharge and relax.
Spend some time with the family, read a good book, watch a movie, take a walk, take a bubble bath or anything else that you enjoy doing. The activity really doesn’t matter—what is important is that you give yourself the permission to let go of your stress and relax for a while.

Chase your passions
How long as it been since you have done something that you truly loved just because it’s something you wanted? A lot of us tend to put our passions to the side while we chase things we feel are “more important”. Yet, when we follow our passions we will turn even our mundane chores into something a lot more rewarding.
Start taking time to chase your passions. It can be anything from taking classes on subjects that inspire you to setting up your own music studio or writing that book you have always dreamed about. It can be anything that brings you energy and joy.
Find humor every day
A great sense of humor will make ugly situations more bearable. If you want a more enjoyable life, then you need to learn to laugh as often as possible. Find things that make you laugh as often as you can. Find funny videos, watch funny movies, read the comics, read funny books, find podcasts that make you laugh, and so on. Get out there and find something that will make you laugh every single day. Laugher is one of the best ways to relieve stress and anxiety.
Learn how you can find the humor in all situations that you experience. If you really try, you will almost always find the humor in it. Learn how to laugh at yourself, not in a bad way but good naturedly. Show others how they can laugh at themselves too. The more focus you put on the humorous side of a situation, the more fun you’ll have.
You may feel that these suggestions are too simple, but don’t be fooled, they hold great power! Doing these things regularly, you will be happier, freer and lighter every single day and not just when you are doing these few activities. A lighter mood will make any situation less burdensome.
