Laure Goubau

About Me

Laure Goubau is a Certified Executive Coach, Leadership & Talent Development Expert, and the Founder & CEO of Gloria Coach, North America’s first women’s leadership and health advocacy platform. Recognized for her intuitive, high-impact coaching style, Laure helps executives and professionals unlock confidence, clarity, and performance through values-driven leadership and personal growth.

Before founding Gloria Coach, Laure built a distinguished career in law and professional development. She began as a class action and medical malpractice litigator at McCarthy Tétrault, one of Canada’s top-tier law firms. Her passion for people development led her to become the firm’s Director of Professional Resources, where she oversaw recruitment, performance reviews, and leadership programs for lawyers and students.

In 2021, Laure joined McKinsey & Company Canada as Professional Development Manager, where she coached consultants from business analysts to senior partners. She led national initiatives in women’s advancement, maternity leave programs, and equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI). Laure co-facilitated McKinsey’s leadership training programs, guiding over 90 participants in emotional intelligence, difficult conversations, and personal values-based leadership.

Laure holds a B.A. in Political Science from McGill University, LL.L in Civil Law from the University of Ottawa, J.D. from Université de Montréal, and a Graduate Degree in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University. She is also certified by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and affiliated with the Institute of Coaching (IOC).

As the host and creator of “My Imposter Story”, Laure shares real and relatable stories about imposter syndrome, leadership challenges, and personal growth, featuring guests from corporate, coaching, and wellness backgrounds. She has been featured on Websites.ca Talk and other leadership and wellness platforms, where she speaks about executive performance, women’s health, and leadership development.

Outside of her professional work, Laure is an avid outdoor enthusiast and certified Level 2 Ski Instructor and Level 1 Ski Coach. She lives in Montréal with her husband and daughter, working seamlessly in English and French. Whether coaching executives, hosting her podcast, or leading women’s leadership programs, Laure’s mission remains clear — to empower leaders to lead with authenticity, courage, and purpose.
