About Me

Kisha Arthur-Fontenelle(me) is an Executive Coach and leadership development partner with more than 15 years of experience helping leaders grow, navigate change, and build high-performing, values-driven organizations. She helps executives lead with clarity, confidence, and alignment while managing complexity and strengthening team effectiveness.

Kisha is the founder of Just Be Leadership, where she provides 1:1 executive coaching to nonprofit leaders, business owners, executives, and emerging leaders. Her coaching focuses on strengthening emotional intelligence, leadership presence, communication, and decision-making while helping clients overcome limiting beliefs and lead with purpose. She designs structured coaching engagements with clear goals, accountability, and measurable progress.

In addition to her private coaching practice, Kisha is the Founding Executive Director of Smile Ministry, a faith-based nonprofit that supports individuals experiencing hardship and homelessness through coaching, mentorship, and community. She created transformational programs that integrate coaching, reflection, and practical life planning, and she trains volunteers in coaching-informed, compassionate engagement practices.

Previously, Kisha served as Director of Operations at Equal Justice USA, where she partnered with executive leadership to strengthen organizational alignment, communication, and culture. She coached managers and staff, led organizational change initiatives, and built HR systems, including performance management and employee development practices.

Earlier in her career, Kisha managed the Women’s Initiative at NPower NY, designing leadership development and coaching programs for young women pursuing careers in technology. She facilitated workshops, built corporate partnerships, and mentored participants to grow in confidence and career readiness.
