About Me

The definition of a personal life coach is someone that can empower people to achieve their aspirational goals. It is a person that lights the way when things get dark and the journey feels lonely. The journey to the things you want in life is often a little bumpy and a guide is often useful. So why do people need a personal coach? Because sometimes we just need someone to listen, to help us declutter our minds and allow us space to think. In teaching, counselling and coaching I believe that with the right level of commitment anything is possible. I also believe in the power of potential. Everyone has it, but few of us know what to do with it. We bounce from one experience to another not seeing the power we have to make extraordinary changes to ourselves and the people around us. Potential is that magic ingredient that can transform us from being who we are to who we want to be.

Results & Goals

I have been working as an academic coach for a large part of my teaching career. I have worked in schools, colleges and universities to help learners access their skills and potential more readily. I have helped people of all ages become successful in all aspects of their lives. I believe with the correct motivation and guidance, anyone can achieve anything, it just takes the right person to tap into what drives you to be the better you.

How I like to coach

I prefer to coach face to face and I am open to email correspondence between sessions, frequency to be discussed during initial consultation. I like my clients to feel supported, yet encourage resilience so that clients feel empowered to change. Change is only possible once a client can tap into their motivation and understand what drives them. This is the core of my coaching and what I find most enriching about my work.

Professional and life experience

15 years life coaching in an education setting, including continued professional development and training for our education professionals. I have mainly worked with young people, but currently working in an adult setting.

Fee description

Fees: from $45.00 USD to $75.00 USD

I charge an hourly fee and book in 3 session blocks. The average coaching programme is 6-9 sessions, but this can be discussed at the free consultation session.
