Coaching

Private one-to-one coaching offered jn Christchurch/Otautahi, Aotearoa/New Zealand. My approach is grounded in Psychosynthesis Coaching. I help clients connect to their Life Purpose using the Core Process approach, which is aligned with their Transpersonal Self. The Core Process acts as an ongoing reference point throughout life to help clients get back in touch with their Life Purpose when times get tough.

Courses

Short courses on the use of Core Process in finding one's Life Purpose, and on the appropriate understanding and use of the Will in creating a harmonious and rewarding life.

Professional and life experience

My life was changed by a Core Process workshop which I took in the UK in the late 70's. I soon got involved in Psychosynthesis training in London, before moving to the Findhorn Foundation, a spiritual community in the north east of Scotland, where I met my partner, who brought me home to New Zealand.as a souvenir of her time overseas! 

I have been involved with face to face, online and telephone counselling and coaching; and love the feeling of resonance which occurs when I am in tune with my client, or with a group. As well as my counselling and coaching work, I have experience in scientific education and research, in a variety of NZ institutions. I hold a Doctorate in Chemistry form Oxford University, and have worked in the pharmaceutical indistry in the UK. Sincde living in New Zealand, I have gained a Diploma in Professional Coaching through the Southern Institute of Technology; and more recently the Psychosynthesis Life Coach certification online from the San Francisco  Synthesis Center. 

In the community, I am currently President of the Canterbury (NZ) Herb Society (gives me the opportunity to harness my inner chemist!) and am a non-theist elder of the local Quakers. I love the open ond non dogmatic nature of Quakers!

I love coaching, the opportunity to make a real difference in my clients' lives - especially those struggling to find meaning in their lives and to answer the eternal question 'Why am I here?'. For me, working in tune with my client is a wonderful privilige, and feels like a sacred trust.

Fee description

Introductory session (up to 30 minutes) free of charge. 

Face-to-face and online sessions in New Zealand by koha or according to above scale (in $NZ), depending on ability of client to pay.

Online sessions overseas - fees at the $US rates shown above..
