Coaching areas I specialize in

About Me

I come to coaching with a foundation in social work, care management, and a holistic understanding of the many layers that shape our lives. My work originally focused on supporting seniors and older adults, and through that experience I naturally began working with entire families and individual adults as well. Supporting aging clients often means supporting spouses, adult children, caregivers, and family systems as a whole, which is why my work today spans a broad population.

Over the years, I have worked closely with individuals and families navigating life transitions, caregiving, aging, dementia, changing family roles, health challenges, and emotional overwhelm. Through this work, I have learned that emotional healing alone is not always what someone needs to move forward. Sometimes what truly makes the difference is coaching, having a trusted, grounded person in your corner who can help clarify goals, sustain momentum, and turn insight into action. That understanding is what led me to incorporate coaching into my work.

I am a Christian, and my faith influences the way I show up with compassion, integrity, and hope. I believe in meeting people where they are, honoring their story, and helping them move forward with clarity, purpose, and encouragement.

Coaching with me

Results & Goals

My goal as a coach is to help individuals and families feel less stuck and more empowered. Coaching sessions focus on gaining clarity, identifying meaningful goals, and creating realistic steps forward. This may include navigating major life transitions, improving family dynamics, managing caregiving stress, or finding direction after a season of loss or change.

I work with adults across the lifespan, including caregivers and seniors, and I have experience supporting families impacted by dementia and chronic illness. Coaching in these situations often centers on decision-making, communication, boundaries, role changes, and maintaining quality of life while staying aligned with personal values.

What I find most fulfilling is witnessing clients regain confidence, follow through on goals, and experience forward movement, not only emotionally, but practically and spiritually as well.

How I like to coach

My coaching style is supportive, collaborative, and holistic. I draw from my background in social work and case management, which means I naturally look at the full picture, including emotional well-being, practical needs, family systems, values, and available supports.

I believe coaching works best when clients feel safe, respected, and genuinely supported. Sessions are conversational yet purposeful, with space for reflection, encouragement, and accountability. I integrate faith when it is meaningful to the client, while always honoring individual beliefs and comfort levels.

At the heart of my coaching is relationship. I strive to be a steady, trusted presence, someone who walks alongside you, helps you make sense of where you are, and supports you as you move toward where you want to be.

Professional and life experience

My work is shaped not only by professional training, but by lived experience. Over the years, I have navigated many of the same transitions and challenges my clients face. I have moved between different states, built a marriage and family, raised children, and stepped into entrepreneurship, all while balancing personal growth, responsibility, and uncertainty.

I have also walked through significant loss. Losing my sister to cancer at a young age deeply impacted my life and perspective. Grief, change, and unanswered questions became very real, very personal experiences for me. That season stretched me emotionally and spiritually and became a turning point in my faith journey. Through loss, I experienced both the fragility of life and the steady presence of God, which continues to shape how I approach others’ pain with compassion, patience, and hope.

Professionally, I am trained in mental health therapy and provide clinical services as part of my work. Through years of supporting individuals, families, caregivers, and seniors, I have seen how powerful emotional healing can be. At the same time, I have also learned that therapy is not always what someone needs in every season. Sometimes a person has already done meaningful emotional work and is ready for coaching—support that focuses on clarity, direction, accountability, and forward momentum.

This understanding is what allows me to thoughtfully guide clients toward the type of support that best fits their needs, whether that is therapy, coaching, or a combination over time. My coaching work is informed by clinical insight but remains distinct, practical, and goal-oriented.

My faith has grown alongside my personal and professional life. I am a Christian, and my faith informs the way I show up with humility, integrity, and a deep respect for each person’s story. I believe growth often happens in seasons, not straight lines, and that having the right kind of support during those seasons can make all the difference.

These professional and life experiences allow me to connect with clients in a genuine way. I understand what it feels like to start over, to hold multiple roles at once, to grieve deeply, and to keep moving forward even when the path is unclear. This perspective helps me work with empathy, realism, and encouragement, meeting people where they are while helping them move toward where they want to be.
