I’m Luis Felipe Godínez — a bilingual Life, Leadership & Empowerment Coach who partners with professionals and leaders ready to step into clarity, confidence and purpose. With over 20 years of experience in journalism and storytelling — from production assistant to vice president in multicultural news organizations — I know what it means to show up under pressure, lead through change, and own your voice.

Drawing on my background as an immigrant and member of the LGBTQ+ community, I offer a coaching space that is inclusive, bold and grounded in real-world experience. Professional and life experience

I bring over 20 years of experience in leadership and storytelling, having grown from newsroom producer to Vice President in a major media organization. My career has taught me how to lead teams, navigate pressure, and support people through growth, change, and reinvention. I am also certified through Northwestern University’s School of Professional Studies and run an active coaching practice through my company, Empowermente Coaching (empowermentecoaching.com).

My life journey as an immigrant, creative professional, and LGBTQ+ leader gives me a grounded, authentic perspective that shapes the way I coach. I blend professional expertise, lived experience, and a deep understanding of human resilience to help clients gain clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Fee description

My fees range from $150 to $300 per session, depending on the level of support and coaching format. I also offer package options that provide more value and make ongoing coaching affordable and accessible.
