About Me
I’m a certified Health and Life Coach with a bachelor’s degree in Family Consumer and Human Development from Utah State University.
I’m especially passionate about helping people navigate the relationships that matter most to them. I work with parents and individuals who love their families but find themselves feeling frustrated, disconnected, misunderstood, or stuck in patterns they don’t know how to change.
One of the principles at the heart of my coaching is simple: change starts with you.
We can spend an incredible amount of energy trying to get someone else to communicate differently, behave differently, or finally understand us. But we can’t control another person. What we can change is how we understand ourselves, manage our emotions, communicate, set boundaries, and choose to show up in the relationship.
I believe we don’t have to wait for someone else to change before things can begin to change.
My approach combines my background in family development with practical coaching tools that help clients understand their patterns, become more emotionally steady, and create greater peace and connection in their lives and relationships.
Coaching with me
Results & Goals
Clients often come to me feeling stuck in a relationship they deeply care about. They may be dealing with frequent conflict, communication breakdowns, resentment, emotional reactivity, parenting challenges, or simply a growing sense of disconnection.
Through coaching, we may work toward:
• Communicating more clearly and calmly
• Responding rather than reacting during difficult moments
• Understanding the thoughts and patterns contributing to conflict
• Setting and maintaining healthy boundaries
• Feeling less consumed by another person’s choices or behavior
• Building greater emotional resilience and self-awareness
• Strengthening connection with children and other family members
• Creating more peace, confidence, and intentionality in everyday life
The goal isn’t to create perfect relationships or control how someone else behaves. It’s to help you become more grounded in who you are and more intentional about how you want to show up—even when relationships are difficult.
How I like to coach
I believe you know your life better than anyone else does. My job isn’t to tell you exactly what you should do—it’s to help you slow things down, ask the right questions, notice patterns you may not be seeing, and discover what feels aligned with the person you want to be.
My coaching style is warm, practical, curious, and compassionate. We’ll talk honestly about what’s happening in your life while focusing on the pieces that are actually within your control.
I love helping clients move beneath the surface problem. Sometimes what initially looks like a communication problem, parenting problem, or relationship problem leads us to something deeper—an expectation, fear, belief, emotional pattern, or unmet need that is influencing how you respond.
From there, we turn insight into action. You’ll leave sessions with practical things to notice, practice, or try in your real life.
I’m not interested in helping you become a “perfect” parent, partner, or family member. I want to help you become more intentional, emotionally steady, and confident in how you show up for the people you love—and for yourself.
Offerings
Coaching
I offer one-on-one coaching packages for parents and individuals who want to create healthier, more connected relationships with the people they love.
Our work is personalized to what you’re currently experiencing. We may focus on communication, emotional regulation, boundaries, parenting challenges, relationship patterns, expectations, or learning how to stay grounded when someone you love makes choices you can’t control.
Rather than focusing on changing the other person, we’ll identify what is within your control and develop practical tools you can practice in your everyday life. Working together over time gives us the opportunity to move beyond a quick fix and create changes in how you think, respond, communicate, and show up in your relationships.
I offer a complimentary consultation so we can talk about what you’re experiencing, what you hope will change, and whether working together feels like a good fit.

Professional and life experience
My interest in family relationships is both professional and deeply personal. I have spent many years studying family development, relationships, personal growth, and the patterns that shape how we connect with the people closest to us.
As a coach, I’ve worked one-on-one with clients to help them move beyond surface-level problems and better understand the thoughts, emotions, habits, and beliefs influencing their lives and relationships.
I’m also a wife and mother of four, which has given me plenty of real-life experience with the beautiful, complicated, and sometimes messy reality of family relationships. I understand that knowing what we “should” do and actually being able to do it in a difficult moment are two very different things.
My work is grounded in the belief that we can’t control the people we love—but we can learn to better understand ourselves, regulate our emotions, communicate more intentionally, and create healthier patterns in our relationships.
