About Me

Anna Sobel is a caregiver coach, educator, and parent with over 20 years of experience helping children build the physical, emotional, and social foundations that make learning possible.

She has supported families through power struggles, handwriting challenges, big emotions, executive functioning struggles and “I can’t do it” moments—and seen the transformation when kids have the tools they need to thrive.

The truth is, knowing letters and numbers isn’t enough. Children also need to sit upright, manage frustration, take turns, and bounce back from tough moments. That kind of readiness doesn’t happen by accident—it takes intention, support, and a solid understanding of child development. That’s where Anna comes in.

Through personalized coaching, Anna helps caregivers understand what’s really being asked of children in school, support whole-child development at home, and build routines and strategies that bring more ease into everyday life. Her work is grounded in developmental science, real-world experience, and deep respect for each child and family. She's not here to “fix” your child—she is here to empower you to support them with confidence.

In addition to coaching families, Anna leads workshops for both caregivers and educators, helping bridge the gap between home and school—because when adults are aligned, children thrive.

Coaching with me

Results & Goals

My goal is to help children build the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive skills they need to move through home and school life with confidence and ease. As a veteran early childhood teacher and administrator, I help parents understand how educators think, so they can respond to behavior, emotions, and learning challenges in clear, developmentally aligned ways. Families I work with see the smoother routines, fewer power struggles, stronger regulation skills, and deeper sense of connection that lead to a child's academic and school success. Ultimately, I want both children and adults to feel more capable, grounded, and connected.

How I like to coach

I coach in a way that’s collaborative, compassionate, and deeply realistic. As both a longtime early childhood teacher and a parent myself, I understand the difference between what works in theory and what actually works in a busy home. I help parents see their child through an educator’s lens—understanding the “why” behind behavior and how to support growth in ways that truly match their developmental stage. I start by learning each family’s strengths, challenges, and natural rhythms so the strategies we build fit their real life, not an idealized version of it. My style is warm, direct, and practical: no judgment, no perfectionism, just thoughtful guidance rooted in child development and tailored to what will genuinely work for your child and your family.

Offerings

Coaching

Coaching with me is flexible and tailored to your family's needs. I offer three different pathways, but each begins the same way—with an intake session where I listen and learn about your child and family. Together, we’ll set meaningful goals and design a plan that feels realistic and supportive, with sessions shaped to fit your life and your parenting journey.

Pathway 1: In Person Coaching (for the whole family): Hands-on support right where your child learns and grows. These sessions bring coaching to life through play, practice, and real-world strategies you can use every day.

Pathway 2: Virtual Coaching (for caregivers): A space just for you. These sessions focus on your questions, challenges, and goals as a parent, giving you tools and strategies to support your child at home.

Pathway 3: Virtual Coaching (for the whole family): Interactive sessions designed for both you and your child. We’ll work together in real time.
