About Me

I became interested in this work because I knew what it was like to understand how I wanted to respond—and still find myself reacting differently when the moment got difficult.

That gap between knowing better and being able to respond better became the foundation of my work.

Today, I am an Emotion Mastery and Emotional Intelligence Coach and the founder of A C Coaching. I work with adults who want to understand themselves more clearly, manage emotional reactions more effectively, communicate better, and make choices they feel good about after the moment has passed.

My approach is practical and highly individualized. We look at what is actually happening in your life: the conversations you keep replaying, the reactions you wish you could change, the boundaries that are difficult to hold, the situations that leave you overwhelmed, or the communication that keeps going wrong.

I don't believe you need someone to tell you how to live your life. My role is to help you see what may be difficult to see from inside the situation, understand the patterns influencing your response, develop the emotional skills that are missing, and practice using them where they matter.

My work is informed by formal training and study in emotional coaching, emotional intelligence, coaching psychology, and human behavior. I am also the creator of the M.A.S.T.E.R. Method™, the proprietary framework used within A C Coaching to help bridge the gap between awareness and intentional response.

My coaching style is direct, thoughtful, structured, and collaborative. I'll ask questions that make you think, challenge you when it serves the work, and give you room to arrive at insights that are genuinely yours.

Because coaching with me isn't about becoming a different person.

It's about understanding yourself well enough to have more choice in how you respond, communicate, decide, and move forward.

Knowing better isn't the finish line. Responding better is.

Coaching with me

Results & Goals

Clients come to me when they know something needs to feel different—in their relationships, their communication, their reactions, their decisions, or simply in the way they are handling everyday life.

In your relationships and family

  1. Recognize the patterns behind arguments that keep repeating
  2. Stay connected to yourself while staying connected to the people you love
  3. Communicate what you need without resentment, withdrawal, or escalation
  4. Understand your own reactions—and become better at understanding theirs

In how you communicate

  1. Stay clearer when conversations become difficult
  2. Say what you mean without over-explaining, shutting down, or becoming defensive
  3. Navigate disagreement without every conversation becoming a battle
  4. Become more confident expressing needs, boundaries, and concerns

In how you handle your emotions

  1. Recognize what you are feeling before the reaction takes over
  2. Understand what is underneath reactions that seem automatic
  3. Regulate yourself more effectively when emotions run high
  4. Create enough space between what happens and what you do next to make a choice

In how you make decisions

  1. Trust your own judgment more consistently
  2. Separate an emotional reaction from what actually needs your attention
  3. Spend less time replaying and second-guessing decisions
  4. Make choices that are more aligned with what matters to you

In how you handle stress and pressure

  1. Notice when stress is beginning to change how you respond
  2. Recover more effectively after conflict, tension, or difficult moments
  3. Stop carrying one difficult interaction into the rest of your day
  4. Handle pressure without automatically reverting to old patterns

In how you see yourself

  1. Build greater trust in your ability to handle difficult situations
  2. Understand yourself without judging every reaction
  3. Develop confidence that comes from knowing you can respond differently
  4. Feel more like yourself in the moments when it matters most

The goal isn't to feel less.

It's to understand what is happening inside you, develop the skills to work with it, and have more choice in what happens next.

Success isn't measured only by what you understand. It's reflected in what you're able to do differently when the real moment arrives.

How I like to coach

Working with me feels like having someone in your corner who listens closely, sees what you may not be able to see from inside the situation, and helps you figure out what to do with it.

My coaching is focused, thoughtful, and practical. We work with what is actually happening in your life—a conversation that went sideways, a reaction you wish you had handled differently, a boundary you are struggling to hold, a decision you keep second-guessing, or a situation you simply don't know how to navigate.

We slow it down enough to understand what is happening beneath the surface. Then we work on the emotional intelligence, regulation, communication, or self-leadership skills that can help you handle it differently when the next real moment comes.

I won't give you generic advice or tell you what you should do with your life. I will ask good questions, help you see the pattern more clearly, offer structure when you need it, and challenge you when I believe there is something worth looking at.

You won't be left to figure everything out on your own, either. We work together. My job is to help you develop the clarity and skills to make decisions and responses that are genuinely yours.

Coaching with me can be direct, but it is also human. There is room to think, question, get something wrong, change your mind, and keep working until what you're learning begins to make sense in your actual life.

Coaching is present- and forward-focused. It is not therapy, and I do not diagnose or treat mental-health conditions.

Offerings

Coaching

Private, structured coaching for adults who want to better understand their emotional reactions, communicate more effectively, trust themselves more, and handle difficult situations differently.

You don't need to know which type of coaching you need before we talk. Every coaching relationship begins with a complimentary Goal & Alignment conversation. We look at what is happening, what you want to be different, and what may be getting in the way. If I believe I can help, I'll recommend the level of support that fits the work.

EQ BASELINE

A focused starting point for understanding your current emotional intelligence strengths and the areas that may need development.

Your assessment and private debrief help us identify where you are now and give you a clearer picture of what to work on next.

Best for: Someone who wants greater insight into their emotional intelligence and a clear development direction.

FOCUSED INTENSIVE

Short-span private coaching centered on one specific issue you want to address.

Maybe it's a reaction that keeps getting the better of you, a difficult communication pattern, trouble holding a boundary, overthinking a particular situation, or something else that feels stuck. We stay focused on that priority and work toward practical changes you can use in your actual life.

Best for: One defined issue that needs focused attention now.

PRIVATE 1:1 COACHING

For patterns or goals that need more than a short-span approach.

This is deeper, individualized work using the M.A.S.T.E.R. Method™ to help you understand what is happening, develop the skills you need, and apply them to the situations, relationships, decisions, and challenges you are actually navigating.

The work may include emotional awareness, regulation, communication, boundaries, self-trust, decision-making, recurring reactions, and other areas depending on what you need.

Best for: Someone ready to work more deeply on patterns affecting multiple areas of life or requiring time, practice, and support.

COUPLES COMMUNICATION COACHING

For couples who love and trust each other but keep getting caught in communication patterns that leave one or both people frustrated, defensive, disconnected, or misunderstood.

You learn together—developing a better understanding of yourselves, each other, and what happens between you when communication gets difficult.

Best for: Couples who want to communicate differently without making one person the problem.

MASTERY PARTNERSHIP™

Ongoing support for established clients who have completed foundational coaching and want continued help applying what they've learned as new situations arise.

This provides a consistent place to work through decisions, challenges, communication, and real-life application without beginning a new foundational engagement each time.

Best for: Established clients who want continued coaching, accountability, and support.

Professional and life experience

For years, I was the person who had it together. Capable. Driven. Getting things done.

And yet there were moments when I would react in ways I didn't intend. I could know exactly how I wanted to handle something—and still snap, shut down, overthink, or replay a conversation long after it was over.

That disconnect stayed with me.

I grew up learning to push through difficult things, not necessarily to stop and understand what was happening underneath them. So I became very good at functioning. What I hadn't learned was how to recognize what was happening internally soon enough to choose what happened next.

That distinction changed the direction of my work.

Through formal study and training in emotional intelligence, coaching psychology, emotional coaching, and human behavior—and through my own experience—I became increasingly interested in one question:

Why can we know better and still react the same way when the moment gets difficult?

The answer wasn't simply more information or more willpower.

There is a difference between understanding something intellectually and being able to access that understanding when you're frustrated, overwhelmed, hurt, defensive, uncertain, or under pressure.

That is the space I work in today.

I founded A C Coaching to help people understand the emotional patterns underneath their reactions, strengthen the skills that allow them to regulate and communicate more effectively, and develop a greater ability to respond intentionally when it actually matters.

That work led me to create the M.A.S.T.E.R. Method™, the proprietary coaching framework I use to bring structure to that process. Rather than giving clients generic advice or telling them what they should do, I look closely at what is actually happening, where the reaction begins, what keeps repeating, and what skills need to be developed so something different becomes possible.

My coaching is direct, thoughtful, and highly individualized. I will ask questions that make you think. I will challenge what needs to be challenged. And we will work with the situations happening in your actual life—not hypothetical versions of them.

Because the goal isn't to become someone who never gets emotional, never struggles, or always gets it right.

It's to understand yourself well enough, and build the skills deeply enough, that you have more choice in what you do next.

I am also the author of Why Do You Keep Reacting the Same Way Even When You Know Better? and creator of practical resources that extend this work beyond the coaching conversation.

Knowing better isn't the finish line. Responding better is.

Dig deep. Just a little deeper.™
