About Me

My name is Rolande S. Sumner is a retired US Army veteran and the CEO & Founder of Life After Service Transitional Coaching LLC®. I enlisted in the US Army National Guard in 1995 and retired in 2015. I serviced in Massachusetts, South Carolina, and Afghanistan as a leader and manager. I am also the former owner of Butter Angles Handcrafted Skin Care. She is an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) and Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP).

My coaching style is calm, straight forward and respectful. I allow you time to process your thoughts, show emotion, and get it out, but I will also help you set goals and hold you accountable.

I facilitate the acclimation, advancement, and accountability of veteran managers in the workplace so that both the veteran and the employer benefit from a long and healthy relationship. The result for the organization is a better bottom line due to consistent and strong performance, stronger leadership and overall diversity. The veteran experiences less insecurity and more confidence in their ability to serve their organization, resulting in longevity and higher morale.

I help veteran managers in 3 major steps:

1. Acclimate to the new workplace culture, resulting in better productivity, improved job satisfaction, and stronger business brand.

2. Advance to higher levels of responsibility and leadership within the organization. This results in higher employee morale, reduced training costs, and retention of valuable knowledge within your organization.

3. Accountability so the veteran may stay on target with professional and personal goals.

What makes me qualified to help my veteran managers acclimate to their new civilian workplace culture? I have 24 years of leadership experience earned in the military, experience in corporate America, and my own journey into entrepreneurship. I’ve successfully transitioned out of the military and live a happy productive life. My experience includes Human Resources, Administration, Coaching, Consulting, Management, and Leadership.

Courses

Group coaching is an intimate conversation shared with up to 6 other clients. Group coaching may be facilitated in-person, via Zoom.us, or Uber Conference.

Fee description

Corporate services are no less than $12,000/6 month program per person. Each corporate package will be tailored to the sponsor and client's needs. Other offers include workshops, speaking and other events.
