About Me
Where you are, I have been. I've felt frustrated, tired, and weary after having the same fight over and over again with no hope for a real solution. It took a devastating relationship breakup to force me to see what was really going on in me and in my relationships. That's when I committed to personal growth and to learning how to develop a marriage that would be truly satisfying. I headed back to graduate school to earn a Master's in Mental Health Counseling, and it was there that I began to learn how important relationships are. I developed a passion for helping couples learn what I didn't know before their relationship becomes irreparably broken. This is when I learned about The Gottman Relationship Method, which solves real-life problems and teaches specific solutions to troubled marriages. So now I bring my decades of learning and experience to every client I am blessed to work with.

Results & Goals
I don't believe in a "cookie-cutter" way of coaching. Every relationship has its unique strengths and weaknesses. But the one thing I know for certain, understanding comes before solutions. That is why I am such a believer in doing a thorough assessment to understand the dynamics of your relationship so we can apply effective solutions. When we know what is causing the pain, we can then effectively and efficiently move to bring hope, healing, and a new way of relating to each other. You've heard it said that the definition of crazy is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Well, that is what many of us experience in our relationships: the same fight over and over again, leading to resentment, isolation, and ultimately separation. I know we can stop this craziness. I've seen it in my life and in the hundreds of couples I have helped. It really only takes a willingness to be humble enough to try a new way of thinking, patience to learn new skills, and patience to see the progress.
How I like to coach
I believe meaningful change begins with understanding before action. Rather than offering quick advice or simply talking about problems, I help clients identify the patterns beneath what is happening and understand why they keep getting stuck.
My coaching style is warm, collaborative, practical, and structured, with a little bit of humor thrown in because I have found that if you can laugh at yourself, it goes a long way toward resolving your issues.
Together, we clarify where you are, where you want to go, and what may be standing in the way. Then we develop practical steps that can lead to lasting change.
Especially in relationships, my goal is not simply to help you communicate better, but to help you build healthier, deeper connections—with God, with yourself, and with the people who matter most.

The Gottman Method: A Proven Path Toward a Stronger Relationship
Every couple experiences conflict. The difference between relationships that thrive and those that slowly drift apart isn't the absence of problems—it's knowing how to navigate them.
The Gottman Method is one of the most thoroughly researched approaches to relationship coaching and therapy in the world. Developed over more than four decades by Drs. John and Julie Gottman, it is built on the study of thousands of real couples to identify the specific behaviors that predict both healthy, lasting relationships and those at risk of separation.
Rather than relying on guesswork or simply talking through the latest disagreement, the Gottman Method provides a practical roadmap for understanding your relationship. Through a structured assessment process, we identify your relationship's unique strengths as well as the patterns that create recurring conflict, emotional distance, or feelings of being misunderstood. This "diagnosis before treatment" approach allows us to focus on the issues that matter most instead of chasing symptoms or revisiting the same arguments.
Together, we'll work to strengthen the foundations of a healthy relationship by increasing friendship and emotional connection, improving communication, learning healthier ways to manage conflict, rebuilding trust, and creating shared meaning for your future. You'll learn practical skills you can begin using immediately—skills that help transform everyday interactions rather than simply managing crises.
One of the most encouraging discoveries from Gottman research is that successful couples are not perfect couples. They still disagree, become frustrated, and encounter life's challenges. What sets them apart is that they know how to repair conflict, remain emotionally connected, and consistently turn toward one another instead of away. These are skills that can be learned, practiced, and strengthened over time.
Whether your relationship is struggling, recovering from a difficult season, or simply ready to grow stronger, the Gottman Method offers a clear, evidence-based path forward. My role is to guide you through that process with compassion, practical coaching, and proven tools that help you build a relationship marked by trust, friendship, resilience, and hope.
I believe every healthy relationship begins with understanding. When we accurately identify the patterns that are helping—or hurting—your relationship, meaningful change becomes not only possible, but achievable.
