How I like to coach

Coaching focuses on understanding your current reality, where you'd like to be, and creating the steps to get you there. In my approach, I ask questions that will get my clients thinking outside their circumstances and into a world that is not just possible but achievable. 

I rely on external resources I've come across in my own journey and with other clients to give a broader perspective on different self-help topics. This includes assessments, personality quizzes, guides, videos, and classes (provided by myself or others). I also use homework like journaling, checklists, and other assignments to keep my clients accountable for their own dreams. Knowing what keeps you motivated as you do this work will make it "stick" even better, so I'm always open to new styles of accountability. 

It is imperative that you feel empowered and supported to make decisions for yourself. I can only be your guide and help to challenge and encourage you. There are so many parts of yourself that influence your decisions, and it's impossible for me to know them all. Trust that you will have a safe space to explore difficult parts of your life and that I respect and honor your vulnerability.

Sessions are 1, 3, or 6 months. 

Calls are weekly and between 30-50 minutes depending on client preference.

Professional and life experience

I grew up with parents who love me but weren't always as supportive as I needed them to be. That made me resourceful in finding the most efficient ways to support myself emotionally. I didn't always do it the right way, but I forgive myself for what I did to make it to where I am today. 

I have degrees in History which means I know how to do lots of research, analyze data, and weave a narrative out of the facts present. That also means I can imagine an alternate history based on changing a few factors. This serves me well in creating a new narrative for myself and my clients. We have the power to change our reality which changes our futures.
