About Me

Having a string of letters after my name means that I know the highs and lows of earning a graduate degree. I know how overwhelming and frustrating it can be. I also know how satisfying it is to see the results of all that hard work. I want you to have that satisfaction. 

After earning degrees in psychology, public health, and mental health epidemiology¹, followed by a decade in research, I pivoted to help graduate students struggling to complete their degrees. My goal was to give students the support they weren't getting at their universities. With up to 50% of graduate students not completing their degrees, it's clearly needed.²

It has been almost a decade since I founded Graduate Student Success Coaching³ and I am as passionate as ever.

The students I work with are bright, hard-working, and dedicated to their education. They are also stressed out, overwhelmed, exhausted, and unsure of how to get through their degrees. Using the skills, tricks, and strategies I've learned in almost 30 years of education, project management, research, and coaching, I help them get through the morass of graduate school so they can pursue the careers they worked so hard for.

How I like to coach

I offer a tailored, dynamic coaching strategy that uses motivational interviewing techniques and solution-focused coaching strategies to address the underlying needs of each client.

I tailor my approach and feedback to your needs, personality, and temperament.

Combining my 15-year experience in research and project management to improve efficiency and productivity with my background in mental health and psychology to address the underlying causes of procrastination, overwhelm, and stress, I have over almost a decade of successful graduate student coaching.

Coaching

Coaching sessions are one-on-one via phone. A free consultation is required prior to starting coaching. This lets us get to know one another and assess goodness-of-fit ?.

Sessions are 50-minutes and sold in packages of four. I do not sell individual sessions to new clients.
