About Me
I am more than just your personal coach. I am here to walk side by side on your journey to wholeness…together!
Every step of the way I will be in your corner, cheering you on, reminding you to keep your head up, and offering my support and expertise.
I’ve been where you are. I’ve felt similar emotions. The suffering in me sees the suffering in you and soon, the spark in me will see the spark in you.
I, too, was shut off and disconnected from myself.
Instead of feeling my emotions, I turned to perfectionism.
Instead of setting boundaries, I people pleased.
I said ‘YES’ when I needed to say ‘NO’ and I burned myself out.
I abandoned myself more times than I could count.
And….. I lost my spark.
I spent years healing my own wounds. And yes, I still have stress in my life. I still get overwhelmed. But I also have more joy, fulfillment, peace, and….my SPARK back!
I grew up in Southern California and I earned my Master and Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University, Los Angeles. I have worked in several public health settings, including community mental health agencies, college campuses, and private practice settings. In my coaching practice, I integrate many different modalities to help clients achieve lasting change.
I am a wife, mother to two active toddlers, and in my spare time, you will likely find me exploring the outdoors, hanging out with friends, hiking, enjoying a delicious meal, or planning my next travel adventure.
Coaching with me
How I like to coach
My clients have told me they feel safe and validated by me, that I offer a judgment-free zone, and that I gently challenge them. My clients also know that I have a lot to say, and I am willing to say it! Rather than just sitting back, I will jump in with tools and suggestions. If you're willing to let go of what's not working, I will offer you a new perspective. If you're feeling stuck, together we will practice new skills to get you moving again. My approach is like peeling an onion. As we peel back the layers, you will start to understand yourself on a deeper level. This takes patience, empathy, and self-compassion. If self-compassion doesn't come naturally to you right now, don't worry, that's something I will help you with! You've got to be kind and gentle when peeling those layers. Underneath are strong feelings that you haven't expressed and deeply ingrained patterns of behavior that once served a purpose, but now, no longer serve you. As you move closer to your core, you get to express your feelings more fully and choose new patterns that actually work for you.
