Carrie Burton (they/she) works with all types of relationships; parents & children, dyad, triads, polycules, and more. They believe that every connection we have with others is a type of relationship. We learn how to build and navigate connections by watching the adults around us as we grow and develop. What were your role models like? Parents and caregivers often forget that their silence is teaching children just as much as words do. Relationships take work, and most of us did not receive adequate life lessons on navigating the ins and outs of relationships.

Carrie adapts each session to match the needs of the clients. They help with communication skills, intimacy and trust building, and more. They specialize in non-monogamous relationships and family dynamics. They were certified through Loveology University as a relationship coach & as a sex coach. They are certified through Everyone Deserves Sex Ed (EDSE) as a sexuality & relationship educator. They have been working in sex education and relationship coaching since 2010.

Sex coaching is person specific, and can have relationship aspects engangle. Carrie works with individuals to reclaim, understand, and embrace their sexual orientation. They work with clients to understand their desires and with sexual relationships to understand and work to have a better sexual understanding and connection with one another. Sex is not like the movies; attraction isn't enough to garuntee sparks! Carrie also works with clients to unpack and unlearn the ideas around sex, sexuality, and the goal-oriented focus on orgasms. They work with clients to learn new ways to experience pleasure and ways to embrace that pleasure outside of the focus on orgasms. They specialize in unlearning purity culture.

Professional and life experience

Carrie Burton, they/she, is our owner, founder, and lead educator and coach. They have studied sexuality, gender, and relationship styles since 2001. They have also studied psychology and sociology around sexuality, gender, relationship styles, and subcultures. They have been teaching sexuality education and relationship coach professionally since 2010. Carrie has taught “sexuality as we age” courses, youth sexuality and relationship education courses, family sexuality and relationship education classes, and inclusive language and affirming care classes for therapists and other providers. Carrie has experience in coaching folx in a variety of relationship styles and dynamics on communication, as well as individuals on embracing their own sexuality and creating intimacy through those new stages. They received their certification as a sexuality and relationship educator through Everyone Deserves Sex Ed (EDSE) in 2019. They received their certification as a relationship coach and as a sex coach through Loveology University in 2021. Carrie is certified in providing both age-appropriate sexuality education and LGBTQIA+ affirming care.

Sex Coaching $100/session

Family Communication Coaching $10/hour

Parent Coaching $100/hour

I offer discounts on packaged 6, 9, or 12 sessions.
